Salvia officinalis
Possibly has an effect on:
- Support of the airways
- Inflammation of gums, oral mucosa
- Support in digestion
- Relief of cramps, diarrhea
Sage should be given in small amounts.
May be eaten by rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and other small rodents.
Do not give to pregnant and lactating animals.
Preferably not to be used together with medication due to the fact that these medications can be contra-indicated.
