Lovely soft, long straw! 

At Happy Rabbits and Friends, we offer 2 types of straw.

  1. Long barley st​raw, hese are long pieces straight from the field. Ideal for making nice nests for good insulation in winter.
  2. Short straw, this is the same as the long but machined/chopped into shorter pieces. 

Beautiful straw of very good quality selected by us personally for you and your pets.

Good for rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, degus and tortoises. 

Happy Rabbits and Friends tip. Straw provides good insulation and is a good building material for your darling to make a nest out of. However, straw has a very low absorption capacity, so it is handy to always use another ground cover under the barley straw, such as hemp fibre/straw, back 2 nature,...
