Timothy hay has a high fibre content and is low in protein and calcium.
It can be eaten by rabbits, rodents, herbivores, reptiles and horses.
Its low calcium content makes Timothy hay ideal for rabbits with bladder and kidney problems.
Because of its coarser long structure, Timothy hay is also very good for rabbits and/or rodents with dental problems. They have to chew on this hay for longer periods of time, which helps wear down their teeth.
Origin: Europe
Timothy hay is natural, field-dried. Besides Timothy grasses, there may be some other grasses in between.
